SQUAD 61 FUND DONATION PAGE

Greetings from your Berry Creek Fire-Rescue Volunteers, Company 61.  We have created this site as a secure online donation point for our new “Squad 61 Fund”, which will raise money for a new squad truck.  Our squad truck is one of our most used vehicles, responding to everything from medical aids and car accidents to Hazmat spills and fires.

Our old squad truck has served us well for many years, but it is need of replacement.  To that end, we have started a fundraising drive to raise enough money to buy a new squad.  The new squad will serve all the same purposes as our current one (medical aids, traffic accidents, search and rescue), but will also be able to accommodate 4 people, and carry and pump 300 gallons of water.  Since no special license is required, the new squad can be driven by any member of the Company, which will enable us to respond even more quickly to local fires.  We will be splitting the cost of the new vehicle with the county; our half of the vehicle cost will be approximately $60,000.  It’s a lot of money to raise, but we’re hoping that our local residents, as well as absentee landowners, will donate what they can to help us reach our goal.  You can donate securely below with a credit or debit card, or if you prefer, donation checks can be made out to "Squad 61 Fund", and mailed to: Company 61, P.O.
