The Berry Creek Berry Festival will be celebrating its 11th year in 2009. This all-day event will be held on August 8th, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and features local artisans, food vendors, kids games, and great entertainment. In 2008, the festival sold 700 blackberry pies; for this year's event, that number is expected to go up considerably.
The Berry Festival is held on the grounds of the Berry Creek Grange, located at 1477 Bald Rock Road. There is plenty of parking available at the McDonald's farm, located on Bald Rock Road just before the Grange.
